William is a native of Athens, GA. He is pastor of the First  Baptist Church in Statham, GA. He began his ministry at Statham in 1997.

William graduated from the University of Georgia in 1972 with a BBA.   He received his Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in 1981.
 
William has been a member of the BaptistLife family since March of 2000.
